Erich Bumgardner, Founder:

Formerly a Partner in Credit Risk Management LLC (CRM), Erich grew the CRM business with partners from a start-up in 1989 to 50+ employees. The business served over 250 community banks, primarily within the Southeast and nationally. Annual Revenues are in the $8MM to $12MM range.

Built job production models and oversaw an average of eight projects/week.

Participated in the estimation of over 250 credit loss estimates through the financial crisis, with summary back-testing results coming within 10% of the medium credit loss estimate.

Developed credit underwriting models and risk rating systems for various types of credit, focusing on key benchmarks and on-calculation guidance.

Worked as transitional COO for Credit Risk Management Analytics LLC after the purchase of CRM and subsequently with DHG after the loan.
Jason Heaton, Associate:
Jason Heaton is an experienced bank treasury and credit professional with 10 years of banking, financial market, and commercial real estate valuation experience as the current principal of FINCRED Consulting, providing various balance sheet advisory, credit underwriting, and due diligence services.
He most recently spent five years at United Community Banks in progressive positions in credit and treasury, ending as Assistant Vice President and Senior Investment Portfolio analyst, handling their collateral swap book, which served as a profit center, as well as related counterparty credit risk management and as part of the team managing the investment portfolio. While at United Community, Jason also had responsibilities for asset/liability management, ALCO reporting, cash flow forecasting, and credit analysis for the treasury department.
Other experiences include as a certified associate commercial real estate appraiser and in retail wealth management/insurance. Jason has a BBA in Finance from Mercer University in Macon, GA.
